MONTIONI NATURE PARK

The park appears as an island of green hills extending over 5,000 hectares at the center of a vast area covered by Mediterranean scrub, ilex and Turkey oak woods, and contains important archaeological finds.

 Montioni Nature Park is a fascinating natural heritage inhabited by numerous spe­cies of birds and other fauna including boar, roe and fallow deer, and por­cupine.

Silence reigns here, and numerous trails wait to be explored on foot, by bicycle or on horseback in this splendid green setting of Mediterranean scrub and woods thick with oak.
